Las Vegas, NV (PRWEB) March 1, 2007 -- First Horizon Msaver, a leading administrator of Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)(http://www.firsthorizonmsaver.com) announced today at the 2007 Prepaid Card & CDHC Expo in Las Vegas that it would be expanding its HSA customer care center to a twenty-four-hour-a-day, seven-days-a week, 365 days-a-year operation effective July 1, of this year.

Billy Mitchell, COO of First Horizon Msaver said that the expanded call center hours will give customers a third way to access account information around the clock. "With this service enhancement customers will be able reach a live operator, go online, or use the telephone IVR system," said Mitchell. "In addition to balance inquires, the call center staff will be able to respond to questions the account holder may have about health savings accounts."

Mitchell said First Horizon Msaver had found that many of their account holders were seeking information about health savings accounts (http://www.firsthorizonmsaver.com) during late evening and early morning time frames. "With customers in all 50 states First Horizon Msaver wants to be able to provide service across all of U.S. time zones at times that are convenient to the customer," said Mitchell.

Mitchell noted that the expanded call centers will be owned and operated by First Horizon Corporation.

First Horizon Msaver currently works with over 50 health plans and third party administrators to administer health savings accounts (HSAs) for their customers who select HSA-qualified health plans. HSA-qualified health plans give all types of employees more control over their healthcare expenses by combining a lower-premium health plan with a health savings account. The HSA(http://www.firsthorizonmsaver.com) is an account that an employee uses to set aside funds on a pre-tax or tax-deductible basis to pay for routine healthcare such as office visits, prescription drugs or lab tests. Money that isn't spent during the year rolls over to cover future healthcare expenses.
