When Agata, popular bookshop proprietor, is suddenly wooed by a man almost half her age, her electricity hits high-voltage. It even sends light bulbs, computers and other electrical appliances bursting in her wake. This comedy reaches impossible heights of suspense, laughter and tenderness.

AGATA AND THE STORM was nominated for 8 David di Donatello Awards (Italian Oscars) and was the Opening Night film at the 2004 Lavazza Italian Film Festival. The film also showed at the Seville Film Festival, Sao Paulo International Film Festival and the Cannes Film Market.
