Whitney Perl takes Perls of Wisdom fashion to the Oscars

A mere eight months ago the idea of owning her own fashion business was just that - an idea, a thought, a dream and more than anything else, a goal.
Whitney Perl, a wife and mother of three beautiful children, has always held onto the dream of owning her own fashion business, and now she does just that; a fresh off the ground, yet very successful, clothing line called Perls of Wisdom.
Whitney has always loved the cute and stylish yet comfortable look of tanks and tees, which is the passion that inspired this new line.
“It’s simple really, I just chose the clothing I love combined with the truths I live by daily and hoped for nothing more than to help empower and inspire women,” said Whitney. “I want to help women believe in themselves and have the inspiration needed to accomplish their dreams. If they wear my truths, I feel as if it is a constant reminder that everyday is a new opportunity for success.”
Perl and her business partner Melanie Maestre have just returned from Los Angeles, California from one of the year's most exciting movie and television award ceremonies.
“I never would have thought I would find myself standing here,” expressed the very enthused Melanie Maestre. “ I mean, I know all women have the potential to branch out and achieve their dreams, but I never thought it would happen so big, or so fast.”
Perl attended an event in New York City where she received the invite to L.A. to ‘gift’ the nominees for the award ceremony.
Accompanied by a member of the Tangled Spider Design Group team, Perl and Maestre spent the three days leading up to the ceremony shaking hands and sharing their story with some of the most adored celebrities.
“It is so amazing to think that hundreds of my tanks and boy shorts are now hanging in the closets of some of the most influential people on television,” exclaimed Whitney as she packed to head back to her home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
When asked her thoughts on the event, Heather Shattuck of Tangled Spider Design Group commented, “I am so happy for Whitney. This week has been a huge success for her and TSDG is very proud to be involved. I can’t wait to get back and help the creative team add these amazing photographs to the Perls of Wisdom website.”
