Brayton Purcell is proud to be a sponsor of the Marin Human Race, a major fundraiser that benefits Marin County charities. A group of Brayton Purcell employees has also formed a team to run in the annual race, which takes place on May 12 at the Marin County Civic Center.
San Rafael, CA (PRWEB) March 2, 2007 -- Brayton Purcell is proud to be a sponsor of the Marin Human Race, a major fundraiser that benefits Marin County charities. A group of Brayton Purcell employees has also formed a team to run in the annual race, which takes place on May 12 at the Marin County Civic Center.
Last year, over 4,000 people attended the event and raised over $390,000 for 199 nonprofit groups. Organizers expect an even bigger crowd to show up this year for this huge celebration.
In addition to the race, there will be costume contests, a community fair, activities and games for kids, free refreshments and a chance to win prizes. Local bands will perform throughout the day and many charities will set up booths, giving folks a chance to learn about local services and volunteer opportunities.
