Minneapolis (PRWEB) March 2, 2007 -- eContinuum, a leading provider of HR Technology solutions that help companies evaluate high performing sales talent, today announced that Thomas Kipp has joined the company as chief technology officer. In this capacity, Kipp will oversee the ongoing development of eContinuum’s current solutions, provide strategic direction for new offerings, and serve as a key contact for customers, investors and partners.

Before joining eContinuum in January 2007, Kipp was the chief information officer for Retek, a provider of retail merchandising software systems. There, he managed the day-to-day operations of RetekÂ’s internal information technology infrastructure prior to its acquisition by Oracle Corporation.

Orrin Broberg, founder and President of eContinuum, said, “Ensuring the quality of a hire is a scientific process that requires the knowledge of how to solve this business problem with the right technology. Adding Thomas to our leadership team will further enable eContinuum to give our clients what they need to effectively compete in the race for sales talent.”

Kipp commented, “eContinuum represents a unique and very exciting opportunity. We’re applying the consumer-like interfaces -- such as gaming -- as well as Web 2.0 technologies to serious business applications, and expanding the reach of these applications into new markets. This is an important time for eContinuum and I’m looking forward to contributing to our success.”

A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Kipp also holds an MBA in finance from the University of St. Thomas. He is based in eContinuum’s Minneapolis-based headquarters.
