For movie buffs whose collections contain more than a hundred titles, managing it with a pen and paper is a headache. Now, a feature-packed, easy-to-use, compact application has been released to classify collectors' favorite movies: All My Movies 4.1.

Bolide Software team is pleased to announce the release of a new version of All My Movies - All My Movies version 4.1. This product is intended for users who would like to organize their movie collection in a quick and elegant manner.

Despite its compact size, "All My Movies" possesses a large number of advanced features. Users will be able to automatically import the movie details from a number of Internet movie databases in several languages (currently available databases provide information in English, German, Russian, French, Dutch, Polish, Italian and Spanish). Large disk cover images can be automatically downloaded from and databases and linked to the corresponding movie titles. Users can add movies manually, import video collection data from other formats (CSV text files, Excel files and AMC files) and even use the UPC/EAN barcodes to let the program identify the title and load the necessary information. The built-in player with a screenshot capture function allows users to capture frames from DVD or AVI sources directly from the program and associate them with a corresponding movie title. Users can search the collection by various criteria (ranging from "title", "director" and "year" to "actor", "genre", "description" and others) using the built-in search mechanism. For the purposes of privacy, the movie database can be password-protected.

Sharing a collection with friends is easy with All My Movies -- users can export a collection to HTML files (applying standard or custom-design templates), text documents or Excel spreadsheets. The export capabilities also make for easy transfer of the collection data to portable devices, such as mobile phones or handhelds. One of the major features of the program is the Loan Manager, which helps users monitor loans and returns of their movies and ensure that none of them get lost. In addition, All My Movies supports plug-ins for functionality extensions and uses standard Windows themes for the interface.

Version 4.1 of All My Movies takes the program's functionality to a higher level. This major update introduces a totally new database design, which removes the restrictions that hampered further development of prior versions. The database optimization also contributed to the increased speed of the program - now it loads faster and uses less memory. In the new version users can view additional details about each actor - the birth date and place, brief biography and filmography - and the contact details of a friend who borrowed a movie from or lent one to the program user. The interface has been modified drastically -- the movie information area now supports HTML templates and is completely customizable to make user's interaction with this powerful tool even more enjoyable than ever.
