Three new pomegranate-based dietary supplements from Pomology™, tailored to the unique nutritional needs of today's health conscious consumers, will debut at the 2007 Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California. All Pomology products feature the power of pomegranates, one of nature's ultimate antioxidants, as part of their unique formulations.

A new pomegranate-based formula, Anti-Aging with Resveratrol, features resveratrol, a powerful antioxidant found in grape skins. Resveratrol is the active ingredient responsible for the health benefits of red wine, and Harvard University's recent studies suggest that resveratrol may be effective in fighting cancer and viruses, slowing aging, reducing inflammation and extending life spans. Anti-Aging with Resveratrol also contains acai and pomegranate extracts, two of nature's most potent sources of concentrated antioxidants, to combat premature aging and promote cardiovascular health, as well as red wine extract to further deliver the health benefits of red wine without the calories and detrimental effects of alcohol consumption.

Two new multivitamin supplements--Men's Daily Multivitamin and Women's Daily Multivitamin--offer pomegranate-based premium blends of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants developed specifically for each sex's unique nutritional needs. Men's Daily Multivitamin contains lycopene to support healthy prostate function and milk thistle to promote a healthy liver. Women's Daily Multivitamin contains calcium in the form of dicalcium malate, one of the more easily absorbed forms of calcium available in a supplement, to support bone health. Both formulas contain pomegranate extract, grapeseed extract and critical bioflavonoids--all abundant sources of powerful antioxidants.

Pomegranates are known to have anti-inflammatory effects and high levels of antioxidants, which are believed to protect the body from free-radical damage. It also contains polyphenols, natural antioxidant compounds found in pomegranates and green tea, as well as isoflavones commonly found in soy, and ellagic acid which is believed to play a role in cancer cell death. Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is native to a region ranging from Iran to the Himalayas. It later spread to the Mediterranean area and now grows in most of the United States.

Pomology (http://www.pomology.com) was founded in 2005 by a team of renowned nutritionists and athletic performance experts who saw the need for nutraceuticals that combined the benefits of the latest medical research with the long-term building blocks of good health found in all-natural antioxidants. Pomology provides condition-specific formulations in a premium blend of proven ingredients that appeal to health-conscious consumers. Each formula is optimized with antioxidants that are properly paired to each formulation to maximize the condition-specific benefits of each Pomology product. Pomology will be in booth #1676 at the Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, CA - March 9 - 11, 2007.
