Residents of the 3-D virtual world, Second Life ®, now have a place to share memories of the virtual world with the launch of the new Website secondlifegalleries.com. Second Life Galleries also provides a Forum for residents of Second Life to communicate with other residents and sell their land, homes and wares.
(PRWEB) March 15, 2007 -- Second Life Galleries introduces the new Website www.secondlifegalleries.com, a site created for residents of Second Life ® 3-D virtual world to post and share images. Second Life Galleries also introduces a Forum page for residents of Second Life ® to communicate with each other and post items for sale.
Second Life is a 3-D virtual world built and owned entirely by its residents. In the Second Life virtual platform, residents create a new life, virtually. Using unique avatars, residents can create real-life experiences including buying land, starting a business, meeting new friends and getting a job.
When making their way through the 3-D virtual world, residents can take snapshots of their journeys. These snapshots are called “postcards” and these postcards can now be shared, free of charge, at www.secondlifegalleries.com. Second Life Galleries allows residents of the virtual world to easily upload their images, leave comments on other images and create slideshows of their memories.
“What better than to create a place for Second Life residents to make their first stop after their second life,” says Alan Espasandin, creator of Second Life Galleries. “It’s like coming home from vacation, you have to share the pictures.”
Second Life Galleries also announces the launch of a Forum page. The Forum allows users to post their personal experiences, communicate with other Second Lifers and sell their Second Life land, buildings, homes, avatar skins, Linden dollars and other wares. Visit the Second Life forum by clicking on http://www.secondlifegalleries.com/forum/.
Second Life has grown explosively since it began in 2003. Today it is inhabited by a total of 4,378,297 residents from around the world. Second Life is a vast virtual world including people, entertainment, experiences and opportunities.
