Hotel network serves New York City visitors by delivering the latest Broadway and Off-Broadway previews, news and information.

Real Digital Media (RDM), a leading provider of next generation digital signage products for establishing point-of-purchase marketing, promotions and corporate communication networks, today announced The Broadway Channel has selected RDM's NEOCAST® digital signage solution to manage programming to over 60 hotels located across New York City. The Broadway Channel® is a full-service multimedia company that produces high quality video, streaming media and television programming for Broadway, Off Broadway, Performing Art Centers and Regional Theatres.

The Broadway Channel® reaches over 42,000 New York hotel guests each day in 61 hotels including the new and exclusive Mandarin Oriental. The Broadway Channel® provides Broadway Previews, a news and information program about Broadway and Off-Broadway productions, as well as state of the art 24-hour programming encompassing previews of current performances and star interviews.

The selection of NEOCAST® was a result of The Broadway Channel's expansion and the requirement to have more control and visibility across their network.

"The Broadway Channel® has been delivering first class product and premium content for the past five years to hotel guests throughout New York City", said Ken Hege, President of The Broadway Channel®.

"However, as technology in this space has improved, we realized there was an opportunity to gain greater visibility and improved control over the management and distribution of our programming. NEOCAST® from Real Digital Media provided these improvements, along with increased reliability, improved performance, access to additional RSS or weather content, as well as detailed reporting functions. Combined, we can more confidently serve our target audience and advertisers, as well as expand into new markets with NEOCAST®."

Broadway is one of the top three reasons people visit New York, and typically they do not decide which shows to attend until after they have arrived. This makes The Broadway Channel® a prime medium to deliver relevant, targeted programming to an audience planning on attending a Broadway or Off-Broadway show.

"We are enthusiastic about this opportunity to help The Broadway Channel reach out to visitors in New York City", said Ken Goldberg, CEO of Real Digital Media. "Their niche market programming combined with the demographics and psychographics of the audience make this network a prime example of a defined market. It's targeted, discrete, and provides tremendous value to both the viewers and the advertisers. This is a 'ready, aim, fire' network that further demonstrates the power and flexibility of our NEOCAST® digital signage platform."
