Give Simple, the online gift-giving site for women, features a well-edited selection of memorable Mother's Day gifts, unique and simple gift ideas, and exceptional personal service, at prices you don't have to be a mother to love.

In 2007, one of the year's most important dates (especially for good sons and daughters) is Sunday, May 13 -- Mother's Day. To help take care of the one who always took care of you, Give Simple (http://www.GiveSimple.com) offers a unique and thoughtful selection of simple gift ideas perfect for every extraordinary mother.

From jewelry and totes to pajamas and tableware, the gifts are well-designed and well-chosen by the Give Simple Girls, the site's own team of mothers, daughters, sisters, wives and girlfriends who have put their PhDs in gift-giving to work to come up with the ideal selection of Mother's Day gifts. The easy-to-navigate site covers a range of budgets. Browse by price or purpose, even call or e-mail the girls for some personal advice (and usually a good laugh). Give Simple will make the gift selection look beautiful with its signature white box and apple green ribbon and then ship directly to mom -- or they'll send a white gift bag (along with tissue and ribbon) ready for a personal touch. It is Mother's Day gift-giving made simple.

Here are some of our Mother's Day selections:

Kathy Lo Photo Necklace

Designer Kathy Loewenstern brings artistic flair and sentimental appeal together with these literally one-of-a-kind necklaces. The ordering process starts by sending in a photo electronically (black-and-white creates a simple, classic look, and a child's photo is perfect for Mother's Day). Then select from a variety of Japanese Chiyogami paper patterns for the other side of the charm. The result is a personalized, tasteful square pendant on a sterling silver chain--a locket for the 21st century.

Books for Moms

Our collection of fun, colorful, and quirky books for Moms includes tips on how to be a babe and have a babe, surviving the initial challenges of new motherhood, and how to strike the balance between being a good mother and being good to yourself. While all the answers for motherhood won't come in a book, a few enduring tips and a deep laugh can go a long way.

Shirts For Moms

If there's a mother on your list who wants to proclaim herself as a Lucky Mom, we have just the thing - a Lucky Mom T-shirt from the fabulous trio of mothers/designers behind PeaceLoveMom. The collection, which also allows moms to proclaim themselves Happy Moms and Balanced Moms, is a comfortable, fashionable way for moms to help the company founders in their goal of "a celebration of motherhood."

Tea for Two (or More)

This brightly colored, whimsical tea set from Rosanna will have you searching for Alice and the Mad Hatter! Made of stoneware so that it is microwave and dishwasher safe, you'll have everything you need for a memorable tea party with friends. Four adorable two-tone teacups sets of various shapes and spring colors are packaged in a chic hatbox, making these pieces a great gift for a tea or coffee lover. (Give Simple also offers Tea Forte, which goes wonderfully with our tea sets.)

On the Go Bags

This tote and its coordinating bags are some of our most popular sellers. They've got everything we look for in our featured products -- they're fashionable, practical, affordable … in a word, they're smart. We're offering a series of spring-appropriate colors and patterns, including a pink-and-lime design in a playful dot pattern and an aqua-and-white selection in a Parisian wallpaper design. For those who love to accessorize, these totes make the case you can never have enough bags.

Our Story

The frilly-edged white platter was, in a word (okay two words), utterly perfect. Kendra Wright, a marketing consultant and "serial entrepreneur," first spied the Flirt Platter in New Orleans and scooped it up for her kitchen back home. She later e-mailed the manufacturer and learned that they weren't available online. If she wanted another platter, she'd have to visit Little Rock.

Kendra set off for Arkansas and decided that the pretty white platters were simply too good not to share. With the help of her sister, Tracy Brown, her close friend Karen Beller and her fabulous business partners (plus a whole lot of candle sniffing and lotion testing), Give Simple was born.

It's the little surprises and delicious moments that truly put a spring in our step. The same goes for gifts. We've combed the markets to find goodies that add a serious hit of fun to each and every day. We offer specialty brands such as Pine Cone Hill, French Bull, Niven Morgan, K. Hall Designs, Paddywax, Voluspa, Mudlark, and Waste Not Paper. All our products are fresh, contemporary and easy to integrate into your life.

From fresh and colorful melanine bowls and platters to a super soft robe for a chilly night, we only sell gifts that we absolutely love. If we wouldn't wrap it up for our best friends, it won't make the cut. Visit http://www.GiveSimple.com for more ways to bring order, harmony and new energy into your life. We're dedicated to making life simpler, one woman at a time.
