Steve Towers, BPM Group CEO, was presented with the Lifetime Achievement in Business Process Management Award at the recent Gartner BPM Summit in San Diego.
The Award was presented to Mr. Towers by Professor James Baird, a Certified Process Management Coach in over 114 countries around the world. The Award was presented prior to Mr. Towers' workshop on Bridging the Gap between Business and Technology Goals delivered at the Gartner event. The presentation of the award was followed by a resounding ovation from workshop attendees.
In addition to the Award presented to Mr. Towers, Terry Schurter (BPM Group CIO) was also presented with the award for Global Thought Leadership. Mr. Schurter was presented with this award for his continued thought leadership in the fields of BPM and CEM.
Following the presentation of the awards, Mr. Towers and Mr. Schurter presented the latest advanced concepts in Business Process Management with excerpts from the CEM Methodology (CEMM™) for developing transformational business processes. The workshop was noted as "the best of the conference" by a number of those in attendance.
Highlighted by the ability of the CEMM™ to expose process "Points of Failure" plus "Causes of Work" and to reduce "Degrees of Complexity - DoCx™"; the workshop helped attendees gain the perspective and approach in the practice of BPM to create transformational businesses process that can produce real competitive advantage for the companies that use them.
