ATP® Electronics Inc., a leading manufacturer of flash digital storage solutions, today announced the latest addition to its flash storage solution lineup with the 300X ProMax® II CompactFlash card along with the new 8GB SD High Capacity (SDHC) card. Both the new ProMax II CompactFlash card and the 8GB SDHC, just like other ATP flash cards, are built using ATP's SIP (System-in-Package) manufacturing process which encapsulates all vital components in a hard protective shell. This results in water resistance, extreme temperature resistance, and an overall all conditions versatility.

"In addition to next generation performance and capacities, ATP differentiates its products with its durability and build quality. Photographers today demand higher performance and storage sizes, but this also means more data to potentially lose on a single card due to harsh shooting conditions. Our cards will allow for high performance, reliable shooting in any environment." said Michael Plaksin, ATP VP of Flash Media Sales.

The 8GB SDHC Class 6 cards ($149.99 MSRP) are available immediately while the ProMax II CompactFlash card series will be initially available in 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB capacities (MSRP: $64.99, $129.99, $249.99 respectively). For more details, please visit the ATP website at http://www.atpinc.com.
