Vancouver, British Columbia (PRWEB) March 7, 2007 -- Computer donations and recycling program Electronic Recycling Association in Vancouver, BC, and the lower mainland gets expanded with the addition of several more depot locations that will collect used electronic equipment for donation to charities and non profit groups. Now it is even more convenient to donate or recycle your old laptops, computers, monitors, servers, routers, and other computer and electronic equipmment. Major computer retailers are signing up with the Electronic Recycling Association to collect old computers for donation and recycling, otherwise destined to recycling facilities or landfill.

Many computer stores and retailers are signing up to participate in this excellent program. Computers are collected in specialty made bins, and then transported to the Computer and Electronics Depot in Vancouver. All possibly usable equipment is refurbished, and much of it is given to the local community.

ERA urges people to take back their old computer or laptop for donation and recycling to one of these very responsible retailers. These computers will then be refurbished and donated back into the community through ERA's many donation programs. ERA donates 1000's of computers to poor people, community centers, daycare homes, elderly homes, charities and non profit groups.
