Online Trained Indian Poker Player Takes Third Place in First International Poker Tournament in India

In just four months, Pranav Bathija of Mumbai taught himself the game of Texas Hold 'em Poker and took 3rd place at the Asian Poker Classic - India's first professional poker tournament.

Goa, India (PRWEB) March 9, 2007 -- In just four months, Pranav Bathija of Mumbai taught himself the game of Texas Hold 'em Poker and took 3rd place at the Asian Poker Classic - India's first professional poker tournament.

Bathija learned the game by playing for free at online poker site MaharajaClub.net (www.MaharajahClub.net). Bathija played against 143 other poker players from around the world to take his share of the tournaments $1,000,000 (44,490,085 Indian Rupees) prize pool after three days of play at the Intercontinental Grand Resort in Goa.
