Yacht Clubs of America (YCOA) has Announced an Increase in Availability of Wet and Dry Slips For Boaters in Southwest Florida

Yacht Clubs of America (YCOA) has announced an increase in availability of wet and dry slips for boaters in Southwest Florida through their network of clubs located throughout the state. Waterfront property is a high-demand, limited commodity. Small, formerly independent marinas have been purchased by large development companies and turned into residential condominiums. Rental facilities are unable to produce the revenue necessary to justify their use of waterfront property. In addition, hazardous weather has destroyed hundreds of slips and environmental and regulatory land use restrictions have further reduced the available supply.

FORT MEYERS, FL (PRWEB) March 9, 2007 -- Yacht Clubs of America (YCOA) has announced an increase in availability of wet and dry slips for boaters in Southwest Florida through their network of clubs located throughout the state. Supply of marina space and boat slips has remained consistent at around 700,000 slips, while the number of boat registrations has continued to rise in the past two years; in 2006, over 1.1 million boat registrations were filed. This situation shows no signs of abating and has created a premium on existing slips at yacht clubs throughout the state. Yacht Clubs of America offers five star facilities in a variety of Florida (and soon in other states and countries) premier locations.

Owners within the YCOA network benefit from an annual appreciation of 35% statewide in such ownership, as audited by Florida Certified Appraisers. YCOA markets through traditional ways and is heavily committed to online marketing services. As a part of that plan, they have registered the following related phrases with the search engines: boat storage, boat slips, Dockominium, Florida marinas, yacht clubs, Florida yacht clubs, Florida boat storage, Florida boats for sale and wet slips. These phrases may look clunky, but they help the search engines find their customers properties better online, and since 82% of real estate transactions begin online today, this registration is very important.

A Dockominium is ownership of a wet boat slip: a water berth. The company also provides Rackomiums, or dry storage berths, for its clients. Both are governed by the same state rules as condominiums, and that's fitting, because these are a form of marine condominium; they're for boats instead of people.

These trends make the purchase of a wet or dry slip to ensure permanent water access a smart investment. Yacht Clubs of America can provide those looking to invest in waterfront boat storage with luxurious full service accommodations that include first class owner's lounges, restaurants and coffee shops, full repair and chandlery services, and much more. Yacht Clubs of America (www.YCOA.com) is your personal yacht club in Florida.
