Dynamic Imaging (http://www.dynamic-imaging.com), an established leader in Web-based image and information management, has announced the signing of a three-year picture archiving and communications system (PACS) contract with Novation, the health care contracting services company of VHA Inc. and the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC), two national health care alliances. Dynamic Imaging’s Web-based IntegradWeb® PACS was awarded an agreement through Novation’s competitive bid process. Notably, IntegradWeb PACS remains the #1 ranked PACS by MD Buyline’s Intelligence Reports for PACS (http://www.mdbuyline.com) for the past 3 quarters (July 2006, October 2006 and January 2007), as well as the #1 ranked PACS by ambulatory care providers according to the annual Ambulatory/Imaging Center PACS 2006 Report, November 2006, by KLAS (http://www.healthcomputing.com).

IntegradWeb PACS is an advanced, highly scalable Web-based technology, that offers standards-based focus, impressive value, and unique flexibility to serve the clinical and business needs of all acute care and ambulatory facilities. Novation’s nearly 2,500 alliance member facilities will be able to reap the benefits of the IntegradWeb product family which includes IntegradWeb PACS for all environments, IntegradWeb ORTHO for orthopedics, IntegradWeb MAMMO for digital mammography, and IntegradWeb OUTREACH for enterprise distribution. Dynamic Imaging’s contract with Novation is effective May 1, 2007 through April 30, 2010, with two one-year extension options.

”Through this agreement, Dynamic Imaging will be able to offer their Web-based PACS technology and their Boost customer marketing program at no additional cost to Novation alliance members,” said David Starr, portfolio executive, Novation. “This will enable alliance members to grow their referrals just as quickly as the PACS scales to manage their growing imaging needs. “

IntegradWeb PACS continues to deliver leading-edge technology based upon the very latest in industry standards. Dynamic Imaging successfully tested its implementation of the new IHE Mammography Profile at the recent IHE 2007 Connect-a-thon, held in Chicago during the week of Jan. 15 – 19, 2007. Developed to harmonize the integration of digital mammography interpretation with traditional radiology PACS, this new profile assists institutions of all sizes to implement optimal digital mammography reading workflow. As a result of the Connect-a-thon, the actors of Image Manager/Image Archive and Image Display are now supported. Dynamic Imaging is in an elite group of only three PACS vendors to have successfully validated the Image Display actor for the new Mammography Profile.
