D&H Global Enterprise, LLC, presents low power 802.16e WiMAX chip utilizing 143mW in receiving mode and 597mW in transmission mode.

Our WiMAX solution enables the practical use of 802.16e in portable devices like cellphones and PDAs. WiMAX is so much better than current cellular broadband for the transmission of data such as video and text .

Current solutions have a power usage penalty, so D&H Global Enterprise, LLC., developed a solution with low power consumption. This enables WiMAX 802.16e to compete in the cell phone market and provide more open, data and voice friendly, telecommunication systems.

"Such low power will allow for 2 to 3 hours of talk time powered by a 3.7V 850mAh battery," said Engineering Manager, Dr. Nizar Al Aawar, PhD.
