TeachMarket.com, The Extra Bucks for Teachers Web Site, Launched

Online learning-resource portal TeachMarket.com formally launches as a marketplace for teachers to create, buy and sell education resources.

Michael Werner, CEO and co-founder of InfoSource, Inc., an education and training solutions provider based in Winter Park, Fla., today announced the launch of its new Website, TeachMarket.com.

Dubbed the "Extra Bucks for Teachers Resource," TeachMarket.com features a fast-growing library of content focused primarily on giving full-time teachers, trainers, and other education professionals the information, resources and support they need to create and build a secondary, supplementary income.

"As you know," says Werner, "the teaching profession isn't exactly famous for its stratospheric salaries. So we'd like to help. We figure that with the amount of useful information and real world opportunities available to all of us today to help build a supplementary income stream -- much of it courtesy of the Internet -- teachers would benefit greatly from having those resources available to them through one easy to use, regularly updated and edited Web site."

"And would you believe they're already finding us," Eldon Sarte, the site's Editor in Chief, happily adds. "We've been quietly gearing the site up with content the past couple or so weeks, not really announcing anywhere that we've already been pumping out articles and guides daily and have rolled out a nifty database of free education grants and funding opportunities, and already teachers are coming in and using the site. I can't wait to see how much we really do end up helping once word goes out to the whole education community."

The TeachMarket team is even more excited about the site already helping, even though "we've barely made our way down our to-do list," Sarte says. "We have lots more planned and already in the works," he adds, "but when you really think about it, it's not about us... it's about the teachers. It's about our kids needing them to BE teachers. TeachMarket.com will do whatever it can to help."

TeachMarket.com is freely accessible at http://www.teachmarket.com.
