Improved Features Set New Standard for Online Hiring in the K-12 Market.

SchoolSpring (http://www.schoolspring.com), the premiere online job source specifically for educators, announces today the release of a significant upgrade in its powerful web-based recruiting tool for schools. The enhanced system is now available and already in use by current SchoolSpring customers. SchoolSpring Version 2.0 combines more features and increased flexibility with improved ease-of-use.

Susan Fitzpatrick, Vice President of SchoolSpring, explains how the new service was developed: "We listened carefully to the needs of our customers to create a completely upgraded product. Our investments in the new system are already paying off as customer response to date is overwhelmingly positive." Initial roll-out of SchoolSpring Version 2.0 began in December with training and technical support for customers.

"I was very happy with the original SchoolSpring, but Version 2.0 has many new time-saving features that make the system even more efficient and user-friendly. Everyone at SchoolSpring is very responsive to any questions I have and is open to suggestions to help the user," says Mary Dyl, Human Resources at Middletown Public Schools in Rhode Island.

SchoolSpring Version 2.0 incorporates hundreds of updates and improvements over the previous version, along with a more robust database.

Some of the more popular features include:

•Faster, more powerful candidate evaluation tools allowing schools multiple rounds of screening and custom assessment criteria;

•Improved communication options for schools to notify candidates about the status of their applications;

•More complete data warehousing of applicants' entire portfolio including resume, certifications, test scores, and other essential information;

•Time-saving job posting applications, such as the ability to list the same job at multiple schools in a district;

•Entirely new user interface to increase usability and system flexibility;

•Significant security enhancements.
