American Sentinel University proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Ernest Eugster as the newly appointed Associate Provost. Eugster has over 25 years of engineering, consulting, and teaching experience in the IT industry and has served as academic director at University College at the University of Denver.
Eugster earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado before heading to Switzerland for his doctorate education and working two decades in Europe. He was one of the pioneers in distance learning, teaching for one of the first online universities in the mid-1990s. Since then he has taught over 120 online courses in technology and business. Dr. Eugster has published extensive articles on information technology and has given presentations at industry conferences around the world.
"Ernest Eugster's extensive international business and education experience will be a great asset to us as we continue to grow our student body and add new business and technology programs," says President Mary Adams. "Being able to bring on someone who earned his PhD from the University of Geneva and applied that knowledge in Europe will help us continue to develop online degree programs that prepare students for a global competitive environment."
