Big Board Entertainment, Inc. Announces Beta Launch of New Site, TVBigBoard.com

New Online TV Community features a free betting game for television shows and entertainment events.

New York, NY (PRWEB) March 20, 2007 -- Big Board Entertainment, Inc. today announced the beta launch of its first venture, TVBigBoard.com, a free online TV community. The site is an interactive hotspot for all things television featuring a points-based betting game, show-specific message boards, episode recaps, and chances to win prizes.

TVBigBoard's feature component is an online game in which players bet on the outcomes, plot twists and character developments of their favorite TV shows using a points-based currency system called BigBoard Bucks. To get started, visitors register for free at TVBigBoard.com and are automatically awarded 50,000 BigBoard Bucks to begin playing the game.

From American Idol to Lost to The Office and more, TVBigBoard members compete with each other by betting on the results of their favorite reality, drama and comedy TV shows in an attempt to increase the size of their respective BigBoard Bucks accounts. These BigBoard Bucks can then be redeemed for chances to win TVBigBoard's monthly grand prize.

The creation of TVBigBoard.com is a direct result of the founders' shared passion for developing a more interactive and enjoyable TV viewing experience. "We wanted to create an online space that not only complements, but also enhances TV watching," said Chris Keaney, President and one of the principal founders of Big Board Entertainment, Inc. "By adding a competitive edge, while giving visitors all the information they need about their favorite TV shows in one convenient location, TVBigBoard members will enjoy an increasingly dynamic and engaging television viewing experience."

During its inaugural month in beta, TVBigBoard will be including 13 of TV's most popular programs including:
"24"
"American Idol"
"Desperate Housewives"
"Family Guy"
"Grey's Anatomy"
"Lost"
"The Office"
"CSI"
"Deal or No Deal"
"Heroes"
"Survivor: Fiji"
"The Apprentice"
"The Simpsons"

TVBigBoard will soon be rolling out a "Group Play" feature where friends and families can customize their own TVBigBoard competition to include the TV shows and questions of their choosing - similar to the creation of a fantasy sports league.
