Announcement: Strategic Partnership for North America between Danfoss and Warmzone

Danfoss and Warmzone have formalized an agreement and strategic plan to increase sales of Danfoss electric radiant heating products in North America. Warmzone, a privately held company from Salt Lake City, Utah functions as a high profile design center for radiant heating systems and has an established network of customers and installers.

(PRWEB) March 11, 2007 -- Due to the recent expansion of the Electric Heating Division of Danfoss in North America, Warmzone has been chosen to assist in its plans for strategic growth. The North American Heating Division for Danfoss is located in Toronto, Ontario with a branch office in Baltimore, Maryland. General administration, support and distribution have been firmly established to assure optimal service for its customers. Warmzone is based in Salt Lake City, Utah and has an established base of customers and installers throughout North America.

Headquartered in Denmark, Danfoss is one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic and mechanical components and control systems for refrigeration and air-conditioning, heating, and motion controls. Danfoss operates in more than 100 countries, employs 18,200 people, and holds more than 1800 patents on a wide range of products.

After careful research, Danfoss has committed to enter the North American electric heating market and is implementing an aggressive plan to distinguish themselves as a leader in the radiant heating industry. Warmzone has been identified as a key component for that success as they have quickly established an online presence for radiant heat among home owners and professionals alike. With established online technology and a knowledgeable staff of in-house designers, Warmzone focuses on selling radiant heating systems that provide unmatched value and comfort for its customers. "Establishing an alliance with Danfoss further ensures our customers will receive the best products and experience available. We are excited to share the Danfoss story and promote its products with the wide range of customers we supply," says President and CEO Tracy Stanger of Warmzone.

The United States and Canada are showing strong increases in sales for electric radiant systems over the last five years reports the Radiant Panel Association. These radiant systems range from small interior applications under tile for bathrooms and kitchens to large outdoor projects that use durable heating cables to melt snow and ice from roads, driveways and other areas that require traction for pedestrians and automobiles. Commercial jobs are also using these systems more often to reduce its liability from snow and ice on roofs, loading docks, car washes, etc.

Electric radiant heat is consider a 'Greener' option compared to using salts and chemicals to melt snow and ice or burning fuel which is used in other common methods for heating. Warmzone and Danfoss are convinced that the efficiency, operational cost, simplicity and maintenance-free characteristics are a few of the compelling issues that are increasing its popularity in North America.
