Kaczmarczyk has a chance to win the title of the # 1 Player in the World in the 40-45 year old age division.
At the same time this Denver resident has also been named Female Tennis Player of the Year by Sportswoman of Colorado
Greenwood Village, CO (PRWEB) March 11, 2007 -- Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club is proud to announce that the USTA has chosen Rhona Kaczmarczyk, 41, Tennis Pro at Greenwood Tennis Club for the past 11 years and a local Denver resident to represent the United States in the 2007 Young Cup World Championships in Antalya, Turkey.
After experiencing a remarkable season in 2006, Rhona has been selected to represent the United States as a member of the USTA Young Cup Team. Rhona was personally chosen by the USTA to be the playing captain for this extraordinary group of American women. After the World Team Championships are finished, then the individual competition begins. Rhona has the unique opportunity to become the Number One Player in the World in her age division. Let that sink in for just a moment….the Number One Player in the World, as in World Champion. And she is one of Greenwood Tennis Club's senior staff members.
The prestigious 2007 International Tennis Federation Senior World Championships for men and women in the 35-55 years age group will be played at Club Ali Bey Manavgat/Belek on 60 red clay courts. Team competition will run from April 23-28, 2007, which features country versus country, and the individual competition immediately follows from April 29-May 6, at the same locations.
