TeamAsia selected by Cebu Business Month to Manage Events, Provide Marketing and PR Services

Cebu Business Month (CBM), an annual project of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), has engaged TeamAsia to manage three core events and provide sponsor and delegate marketing and public relations services. CBM intends to leverage TeamAsia's event management and marketing expertise in the production of three international events.

TeamAsia, a Manila-based strategic marketing communications firm that develops place, corporate, and personal brand strategies, creative concepts, and marketing communications programs for its clients, recently announced that it has been retained by Cebu Business Month (CBM) to conceptualize, manage, and promote three international events.

CBM is an annual project of the Cebu Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCCI) undertaken to promote the tourism, information and technology, and small- and medium-size enterprise (SME) sectors. This year, CBM will involve three international events, a tourism conference June 14-15, an ICT conference and exhibition (http://www.cebuict2007.com) June 26-28, and a series of SME-oriented learning sessions embedded in the two larger meetings.

Cebu is a province located in the central Philippines, and is known as an attractive tourism destination around the world. It also has fast-growing business process outsourcing, software development, and SME sectors.

"These are major international initiatives meant to position Cebu as an important center for tourism, ICT, and entrepreneurship, and it is critical that we're able to communicate the unique benefits and value we offer to sponsors, exhibitors, and delegates," said Samuel L. Chioson, chairman of the CBM steering committee and a prominent Cebu businessman with interests in steel, education, and furniture manufacturing. "TeamAsia's expertise in planning and managing top-tier meetings and its strong track record promoting international events will enable us to deliver world-class conferences as a result of its expert management, marketing and public relations efforts," he said.

TeamAsia services a broad spectrum of industries including banking and financial, telecommunications, trade associations, multilateral lending institutions, technology, BPO, human health and steel. The firm has already assisted CCCI in conceptualizing the three events and has undertaken sponsor and exhibitor recruitment initiatives, including the development of marketing collateral and a website, leveraging its experience and broad range of services to boost awareness of CBM.
