Mic-O-Mic Americas Inc., the distributor of multiple award winning Mic-O-Mic and LONPOS products are to exhibit at the non-video and non-computer games conference, Games Expo 2007, in Las Vegas during the week of march 18, 2007. They will be showing their existing range, together with two new LONPOS Pyramid games.

The range of multiple award winning products distributed by Mic-O-Mic Americas Inc. are to be enhanced at the non-video, non-computer games conference, Games Expo 2007, by the addition of two new games they will introduce in time for the upcoming Holiday Season.

The first is: LONPOS Ultimate Pyramid Game, where an astounding 13,882,213 three sided, 3 Dimensional Pyramids can be built using the 17 game pieces, known as pentominoes, included with the game board. This is brand new, having only just been released in the Far East where its debut has caused a great deal of excitement. In the Far East it is known as the LONPOS 84T Game. There are 432 preset challenges in the full color instruction book. It is expected that additional preset challenges will be available over time.

The second is: LONPOS 4D Pyramid game. This has been sold in the Far East and Europe for a number of years and has been test-marketed in North America with great success - it is now ready for general distribution. With this game you can build 19,887 2 Dimensional Pyramids and 2,582 3 Dimensional Pyramids using the 12 pentominoes provided. There are 432 preset challenges in the instruction booklets provided. This game has two game boards, so that two people can challenge each other to see who can finish a challenge first.

Also exhibited will be their LONPOS 101 and LONPOS 303 Pyramid and Rectangle Games:

Their version of LONPOS 101, designed to appeal to adults as well as children, was introduced in mid-2005. It has been so well received, that an event planner bought several hundred as goody-bag gifts for an international conference of rocket scientists. This game is in a pocket/purse-sized box which makes it an ideal travel game. With the 12 pentominoes provided, 360,984 2 Dimensional rectangles and 2,582 3 Dimensional Pyramids can be built. The instruction booklet contains 101 preset challenges to get you started.

LONPOS 303 was introduced in the late Fall of 2006, primarily due to a demand for more preset games over and above those in LONPOS 101. While this is the same size as LONPOS 101, it has different packaging. It has the original 101 preset challenges plus an extra 202 challenges in a separate booklet.

All LONPOS games help develop brainpower, IQ, concentration, math skills, concentration, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, cognitive skills and interpersonal skills (they are even more fun when playing with or against others). Designed to be for 8 year olds, up to adults, younger children can do quite well with adult supervision and/or guidance.

They make great teaching tools, particularly as demonstration boards are available for LONPOS 101 and LONPOS 303 with an enlarged, laminated booklet containing the first 101 challenges. These were also designed to help resellers more effectively demonstrate the games to customers.

Mic-O-Mic Americas Inc.'s versions of LONPOS 101 and LONPOS 303 have each won Oppenheim Toy Portfolio "Gold Seals;" Parents' Choice Foundation's "Gold Awards;" Dr. Toy "100 Best Children's Products" AND "10 Best Games" Awards; and Toy Tips Trusted "Marks of Excellence."

Additionally, their LONPOS 101 has been awarded Parenting Publications' "NAPPA Gold Award;" Dr. Toy "Best Children's Vacation Products Award;" The National Parenting Center "Seal of Approval;" Creative Child Magazine's "Preferred Choice Award;" Parent to Parent's "Adding Wisdom Award" AND "Best Toy for Special Needs Award;" Family Review Center's "Seal of Excellence" AND "Top Product Award." Also reviewed by National Lekotek Center under their AblePlay Ratings for Play Products for Children with Special Needs, this game was honored by being selected to receive THREE stars for each of Sensory, Communicative and Cognitive disabilities and two for Physical disabilities.

Their LONPOS 303, in addition to the awards mentioned above, has been granted a Mr. Dad "Gold Seal of Approval;" an "iParenting Media Award;" Creative Child magazine's "Top Toy of the Year Award (Brainteaser games category);" and The Toy Man's "Seal of Approval" AND "Award of Excellence with 5 Stars" AND "eChoice Award."

Their mind stretching Mic-O-Mic patented, German designed and manufactured, construction toys also have won many, many awards since being introduced to North America in mid-2004. Why mind stretching? Because there are no written instructions to follow when building these toys - just a few pictures to help you on your way. These are colorful, sturdy and almost indestructible under normal use - they can survive generations of fun.
