EcoComposite LLC, a new force in the design and production of commercial fuel cell components and systems, today announced the release of the EcoPlate series of bipolar graphite plates based on its proprietary Becker Fuel Cell Plate technology.
The Lo-Power plate series features both standard and custom bipolar graphite plates that are designed for low wattage and low voltage applications. "The Lo-Power series of plates are perfect for applications that do not require special cooling due to their use in low power output applications," said Rolf Becker, founder of EcoComposite and inventor of Becker Plate Technology. Since these plates are low cost and simple in design, they are well suited for educational, research and development activities where the goal is to learn about fuel cell operation or develop products operating in the 300 to 400 watt range.
The Hi-Power series of plates are intended for high wattage and voltage applications and come with embedded cooling features. These plates are specifically designed for production environments where durability and performance are needed, but since they are low cost they can also be used in education and research applications as well.
