The conference concludes in style with the MMA Mobile Entertainment Live! BASH, powered by Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, and the Mobile Marketing Association, and presented by AOL, with live performances by The 88 and David Martin.
"The 88 and David Martin represent the best of the mobile entertainment revolution--pushing aside conventional music with their exceptional vision and talent," says Tamara Conniff, Billboard's executive editor and associate publisher. "We're thrilled to have these cutting-edge musicians perform at this year's bash."
The 88, a Los Angeles-based band that plays to sold out crowds across North America, released its second album, Over and Over and appeared on Fox's hit series, "The O.C." whose soundtrack sales have now topped 300,000 copies.
Something in Your Eyes, David Martin's self produced-debut album, offers elegant melodies, dramatic transitions and one memorable chorus hook after another. Martin recalls the classic hits of the '70s and '80s, presented by such icons as Billy Joel and Sting, and picks up where these artists left off 25 years ago.
