San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) March 15, 2007
Adesso Albums (http://www.adessoalbums.com) announced today that the celebration of its first five years in business, which took place January 27th at San Francisco's landmark Pier 38, raised over one thousand dollars for San Francisco's Delancey Street Foundation.
In the spirit of the Adesso Album where everyone takes part in its creation, guests sipped custom Adesso cocktails, sampled tasty treats and danced to live music while participating in fun "interactive" party activities. One activity was to purchase Adesso Album products with one hundred percent of the profit benefiting the Delancey Street Foundation -- a program that provides a structured educational and living environment to help its participants rebuild their lives after adversity.
"We are so grateful to Lesley and Adesso Albums for this very generous contribution to our program," said Mimi Silbert, Founder of the Delancey Street Foundation. "The Delancey Street Foundation has been empowering people with the problems to become their own solution since 1971 and relies on community support. Adesso Albums is a wonderful example of how local San Francisco businesses can support our efforts and make a difference in people's lives."
"I was absolutely delighted with the response of the friends, family and business associates who attended the party and purchased products at our Anniversary Gala," said Lesley Mattos, Founder of Adesso Albums. "And I'm equally delighted to be able to present our check for $1,000 to put to good use in one of the Delancey Street programs."
Adesso Albums' patent pending concept is revolutionizing the traditional guest book market. The albums combine Polaroid instant photos taken of guests at events -- such as weddings, bridal or baby showers, birthday, anniversary, graduation parties -- with personalized hand written sentiments from those guests, creating a unique, one of a kind, real time memento of the event that can be enjoyed the instant the event is over.
