The online poker room has announced the first of its new weekly poker tournaments will be held on Sunday, 18 March. Players will compete for a guaranteed $100,000.

Everest Poker http://www.everestpoker.com today announced that this Sunday, 18 March would be first date of the online poker room's weekly $100,000 guaranteed tournament. The tournament will be held every Sunday at 14:30GMT.

"This is one of the biggest announcements I've had the pleasure of making," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker's property manager. "Weekly tournaments of this size are only available because of the dedication of our player base and we're very appreciative of their loyalty."

Satellites for these weekly tournaments began on Monday, 12 March and are played throughout the week.
