Company management says the new name will better reflect the company's worldwide operations.

Teambuilders Inc., a leading performance development company based in Tampa Bay and Greater Boston, announced today it will change its name to TeamBuilders Worldwide, effective immediately.

The new name better reflects the company's increasing international client base, according to Nick Conner, TeamBuilders Worldwide's vice president for program development and chief operations officer.

"Our team development operations have been steadily branching out to the United Kingdom, Africa, Canada, Switzerland, Mexico and elsewhere," Conner said. "We felt the name of the company should better reflect what we do and where we do it."

TeamBuilders was founded a decade ago, and began life by providing clients with team building programs that were fairly typical of those times. However, the company rapidly developed into an industry leading designer and provider of custom programs that were developed to address the unique needs of each client. The company's programs and performance management tools are second to none in the industry.

"Today, clients from around the world can visit our website, learn about us, and provide us with the details of their individual needs," Conner said. "Within 12 hours, they can expect to have the details of a custom-designed program in their hands, no matter where in the world they are located."

TeamBuilders Worldwide's client list includes some of the nation's most prestigious companies, including Staples, Charles Schwab, Sam's Club, Nokia, Bank of America, Lockheed Martin and Raymond James, to name a few.
