Ghost Post Publishing is proud to announce a new book, Funky Gorilla Fist, the first novella by Anthony F. Pepe: (4.5x7 paperback, 131 pages ISBN 1-59872-304-9 GhostPostPublishing.com, $14.99)
The stunning cover art, provided by Lauren Pascarella is beautifully dark, if a little unsettling to some. It is a look that perfectly represents the feel of this book.
One reviewer said, "...this book is more than just a read, it is a journey, it is a trek into the twilight of the waning human condition, it will answer the questions you dare not ask, and ask you the question that you will not answer… in short, it is a book powerful enough to make Bukowski want to put it down and move onto a lighter read..."
The artfully crafted prose resinates with poetic flows and vivid imagery
"I'm still looking at the dent in his face when the girl on stage leans down, and yells to me over the music, "You know something, the blood under the blacklight, mixed with the neon and the flashing lights, sort of looks like an oily puddle of water on the blacktop in the sunlight."
It was then that I knew I had to get to know this girl.
"What's your name?" I asked
"Jennifer." she says."
And so begins this story of boy meets girl.
This intriguing story will lure you into it's depths and hold you there, even if at times, it's against your will.
