Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 21, 2007
Atlanta-based TalentQuest announced today it has hired industry expert Wayne Luke to lead a new Executive Search and Mentoring practice. The new services will focus on C-level positions – from initially identifying and placing an executive to continually enhancing that individual's leadership effectiveness.
"Wayne's wealth of expertise will allow us to quickly build this new practice into one of immediate value to our clients," said Frank Merritt, CEO of TalentQuest. "He has placed and mentored hundreds of executives across a wide range of industries and will leverage that experience across all of our clients."
Luke joins TalentQuest from the Atlanta Falcons where he served as Executive Vice President, People and Organizational Development. In that role, his responsibilities included helping to restructure the Falcons organization and shaping the human capital aspects of the many businesses owned by Arthur M. Blank. Luke spent 15 years building a very successful global C-level search practice at Heidrick & Struggles, a leading executive recruiting firm. In addition, during his many years in Silicon Valley, he co-founded two venture-backed technology companies and built a "think-tank" consulting business, establishing his effectiveness as a creative and resourceful entrepreneur.
"TalentQuest has built a strong foundation of technology and consulting services to optimize organizational talent at every level," said Luke. "I am eager for the opportunity to offer clients new tools for solidifying and strengthening their critical top-level talent."
"Wayne is a leader of the highest integrity and intellect. He treats every client like they are the first and last client he will ever have," said Merritt. "This level of client-first commitment will provide executives an unparalleled level of service and results."
A native Georgian, Luke graduated from Georgia Tech and received his Master's of Business Administration at Harvard Business School.
