"I knew from the beginning that this was not going to be a childish fragrance," says Brando. "After all, Hello Kitty and her fans had evolved, even the children of the women who had grown up with Kitty are more sophisticated. I wanted to infuse a young-at-heart essence with hints of euphoria, but with a subtle glamour that was not ostentatious. It's how one feels when enmeshed in Hello Kitty's presence - something's there that just makes you smile inside."
The directive for Miss Brando was "sunshine in a bottle," and so the task of hand-blending began. Samples were produced, rejected, refined, rejected and refined, until one day it all came together.
That fragrance is light and fresh and dare we say -- a little sexy. Island floral ingredients were sourced to make sure that a sensory vacation was insured -- Frangipani blossoms, red hibiscus, star jasmine and gardenia. These are followed by Tahitian vanilla, sandalwood coconut milk and the thinnest veil of driftwood musc. The composition together creates a unique, unforgettable scent with appeal to a broad range of individuals -- just like Hello Kitty.
