This collection of short fiction and poetry was inspired in part from a quote from the remarkable actress, Mae West: "Writing is a lot like sex. At first you do it because you like it. Then you do it for a few good friends. And, if you're any good at it, you do it for money."

Mary Ann Ellis West writes thoughtful and humorous short fiction and poetry in this new collection. "The Things We Do For Love" is available on Lulu Press, Amazon.com and in many local bookstores.
