Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 24, 2007 -- In today's Internet world, social networking has become a necessity. With the advent of numerous sites that offer the service, myNetSpot.org is a growing premium social networking site that offers the free premium service. The site, http://www.mynetspot.org is now ranked in the top fifty thousand (50,000) on the Internet, and top ten thousand (10,000) sites in the United States, according to Alexa Internet. Unlike many other social networking sites, myNetSpot is more personal and has members more engaged in the activities.

MyNetSpot.org is based on the Circle of Friends technique for networking individuals in virtual communities and demonstrates the small world phenomenon, also known as WEB 2.0. Every user creates an online identity by filling out a questionnaire profile and uploading a user picture, and then defines a gallery of friends, and the service then integrates these galleries, allowing a user to search through a list of their friends, their friends' friends, and so on. The premise is that in this way, one can interact with and meet people who are always a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend, and not a random, unknown person. Currently, the site is still new to the networking neighborhood, and is seen as a breath of fresh air.

The site, Mynetspot.org is basically a social networking site like MySpace. It is fast and easy to signup to this free social networking site. Members have their own website, also known as spot on the net. Typically, each member has a personal URL to their web page, and the page is basically customizable. Members have a description of themselves on their pages and can change the preferences as well. Comments are allowed on member pages, and a customizable friends list is available. The makeup of mynetspot members consists of teens, young adults and even a few older people. In terms of geography, membership consists of people from, U.S.A., Canada, Europe (Great Britain, France, Germany), Africa ( Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, Gambia...), Asia, Jamaica, and more.

Another feature of myNetSpot is myNetSpot video. The video section of the site is comparable to the YouTube system. Members can upload and share videos using this feature. Videos can be uploaded, commented on and rated. There is also an option to flag the videos as well. In addition tho that, there is also a music video section, where members can enjoy a wide variety of music videos from various groups and artists. MyNetSpot members can also add videos to their personal web pages.

Briefly reviewing the site, one can find lots of rave reviews from members. A few examples are: "...Hey i am getting more happy and satisfied of this site everyday, this is why i have decided to know more about this. Thanks for your work, we are now in Jan 2007, i don't know how it was on June 2006, but what i see now, is nice..." , "...I really am enjoying this site. It's a lot better then myspace and more personal. Thank you..." , "...One thing I like about the site is that it is very personal, and quite easy to use, I'll stick around to see how things go..." , "...The more I look around, the more I like what I see, Awesome site guys..." , "...
I think this site is better than Myspace or any other profile site out there. I can upload many pictures to my gallery and the moderators keep me safe. It's still small and I like it that way But I know it will become one of the best!!! ..." and more. However, there are those who may be skeptical about the site. MyNetSpot.org can be described as an Internet portal that connects friends.

In addition, the site not only offers all standard features found in mainstream SNS, but also offers staff who really seem to care about their users. The site is monitored daily for unwanted activities, and members can actually receive personal help from the creators. There is a strict "no spam" policy enforced to keep the community generally moving in the right direction. myNetSpot.org is a new social networking site that provides an avenue for friends to communicate.
