Children's Home Society & Family Services (CHSFS) has named Colleen McLain regional director for subsidiary, Adoption Service Information Agency (ASIA), overseeing offices in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia.

Children's Home Society & Family Services (CHSFS) has named Colleen McLain regional director for subsidiary, Adoption Service Information Agency (ASIA), overseeing offices in Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia. Most recently the director of international adoption programs with the Barker Foundation, McLain has nearly 20 years of experience in the adoption field. In her new role, McLain is responsible for finding and preparing families for adoption, improving services to clients and growing educational programming and support programs for adoptive families.

"Colleen has the vision, leadership and operational experience to help us achieve our goal of becoming the leading adoption services provider on the East Coast," said Jane Alexander, vice president of organizational development for Children's Home Society & Family Services. "Colleen's expertise is essential as we open up a new chapter, and build upon our 120-year foundation of serving children and families through adoption."
