Synergistics, Inc. announced the availability of new capabilities for Presidio, the company's web-based access control software system, which allow users to control security from anywhere.

Presidio can be demoed in the Synergistics booth, #26151, at this week's ISC West Trade Show in Las Vegas, NV.

A highly advanced access control software system, Presidio can be run directly from a browser. This means that users can manage the complete suite of access control functions without any specialized client software on local machines. There is no need for dedicated workstations or a dedicated security network, just a PC, Web browser, Web or LAN/WAN connection. Any alarm event can be sent automatically to a text-enabled cell phone, PDA or e-mail address. Highly secure communication protocols and 128-bit SSL encryption options ensure access for authorized company security personnel only.
