MissionMode to Implement Services at The London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority
MissionMode Solutions will be providing crisis communication services for the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority (LFEPA), the organisation in charge of running the London Fire Brigade and coordinating regional emergency response across London.

Apart from running the London Fire Brigade, LFEPA also has regional responsibilities for Emergency Planning. The London Fire Brigade, the third largest fire organisation in the world, is responsible for a wide range of services including: response to fires and other emergencies, the enforcement of fire safety, and, as part of the LFEPA, coordinating regional emergency response across all 33 London Boroughs. Those boroughs have representatives (Borough Emergency Planning Officers) that, in a crisis, have to report to a crisis management centre. Currently, LFEPA staff manually notifies each borough officer and inform them that they are to implement predetermined arrangements and are required to activate their Borough Emergency Control Centres (BECCs).
With MissionMode, these alerts will no longer be sent out manually. Instead, using the MissionMode's alert notification system, an administrator will be able to log in to a web-based interface and send out an alert to all borough officers within minutes to a wide variety of devices including SMS, e-mail, phone, and pager as designated by the recipient. Recipients can acknowledge the alert to ensure administrative officials know that all members are on the same page and executing the correct response plan. Ultimately, MissionMode will help the LFEPA and all London Boroughs respond to a regional emergency with much improved response times.
