Ariadne Expands Presence in Australia and New Zealand: GeneWorks Starts Distributing Pathway Studio

Ariadne today announced that GeneWorks, a major Australian supplier of molecular biology research products, will be distributing Ariadne products in Australia and New Zealand. GeneWorks will offer Pathway Studio to its clients as a must-have tool for microarray, proteomics and other experimental data analysis.

Rockville, MD (PRWEB) April 3, 2007 -- Ariadne today announced that GeneWorks, a major Australian supplier of molecular biology research products, will be distributing Ariadne products in Australia and New Zealand. GeneWorks will offer Pathway Studio to its clients as a must-have tool for microarray, proteomics and other experimental data analysis.

Headquartered in Adelaide with sales offices in all Australian capital cities as well as Auckland NZ, GeneWorks services and supplies the Australian and New Zealand markets with a select range of innovative leading edge equipment, reagents, consumables and associated services. Ariadne Pathway Studio will be a significant addition to GeneWorks products as software that helps to interpret high-throughput experimental results, see the big picture and retrieve underlying biological meaning.

"The availability of public Human and Other Genomic data, organism-wide protein-protein interaction data and widespread gene profiling technologies presents new challenges to the storage and analysis of biological and pre-clinical data, said Nik Psevdos, National Business Manager at GeneWorks. "In recognition of this trend, Ariadne has introduced a new generation of bioinformatics products that combine flexibility of desktop applications and browsing power of web-based solutions. The resulting products are inexpensive knowledge discovery systems, bringing the wealth of publicly available functional genomic content to the fingertips of individual researchers."

GeneWorks will provide sales and technical support to Ariadne Pathway Studio users in Australia and New Zealand.
