Gillaspy Associates is now taking registrations on for free evaluation units* for the latest test and connectivity products. Network Delay Emulation

Network Emulators are used in network testing to introduce network latency, network delay variation (jitter), packet errors, bit errors and other network impairments prior to deployment. Hard Disk Emulators and Initiators

Target emulation systems for Fibre Channel and SAS provide a virtual, extremely cost-efficient configurable environment for SAN product development, testing and QA. Protocol Analyzer, Traffic Generator, Bit Error Rate Tester (BERT)

Xgig® is a powerful protocol analysis tool for Fibre Channel, Gigabit Ethernet and SAS/SATA links operating at different data rates. The flexible features of Xgig® accelerate development and SAN deployment. The protocol analyzer tool captures details about high-speed traffic and quickly analyzes individual protocols. Xgig Expert software provides a robust set of debugging and analysis tools for analyzing traces.The Xgig employs universal chassis and blade hardware architecture. By inserting various blades, Xgig® becomes a multi-protocol, multi-function, and multi-speed tool.

Currently available Xgig applications are the protocol analyzer, traffic generation, and BERT, all available with no hardware changes. Physical Layer Switch

From the originators of the Physical Layer Switch with over 9 years of experience, the GLX4000* series features our 4th Generation non-blocking, multi-protocol physical layer switches allowing any input to connect to any output. The GLX4000 is capable of switching any digital signal up to 4.25 Gb/s with any of its 288 ports providing 2.5 Tb/s switching capacity -- all in a compact 8U chassis. GLX4000 switches are scalable by accepting up to six modular port cards with forty-eight (48) ports per card.

Two port card versions are available with Small Form-Factor Pluggable (SFP) transceivers - non-retimed and retimed. Each SFP transceiver is hot-swappable and provides the physical ports for various media. Different types of SFP transceivers support a variety of network configurations.
