Northeastern Log Homes Certified Sales Representatives Dan & Jill Fager, who own Cabin on the Hill Resort in Carbondale, Illinois (http://www.cabinonthehill.com) built the cabin which offers three bedrooms, loft and plenty of space for hobbies and storage of ATVs, canoes, kayaks and snowmobiles.
The complete kit includes all pre-cut and numbered logs, interior walls and stairs, roofing, windows and doors, decking and other components. The kit retails for $102,000 says the manufacturer and will be part of the company's Premiere Dream Cabin Series. The manufacturer also produces several smaller cabin kits in a range of prices starting at $15,200. Models are open to the public in Kenduskeag, ME near Bangor; Groton, VT; Westfield, MA, and LaGrange, KY near Louisville.

The Dream Cabin offers 1,800 square feet of living space plus a daylight basement for recreation, sleeping and storage.
