Outdoor Life Magazine's Dream Cabin Appears in March Issue Plus Video Tour On YouTube

The new Outdoor Life Dream Cabin just completed in Carbondale, Illinois home appeals to both families and outdoor enthusiasts. The Dream Cabin was built from a kit by Northeastern Log Homes. Outdoor Life and Northeastern Log Homes collaborated on the design and features. Additional cabin and log home models are open to the public in Westfield, MA, Bangor, ME, Louisville, KY and Groton, VT. Dream Cabin kit is now available for sale.

Outdoor Life features its newly completed Dream Cabin online and in the March issue of this popular source for information on hunting and fishing adventure. Northeastern Log Homes Certified Sales Representatives Dan & Jill Fager, who own Cabin on the Hill Resort in Carbondale, Illinois (http://www.cabinonthehill.com) built the cabin which offers three bedrooms, loft and plenty of space for hobbies and storage of ATVs, canoes, kayaks and snowmobiles.

The complete kit includes all pre-cut and numbered logs, interior walls and stairs, roofing, windows and doors, decking and other components. The kit retails for $102,000 says the manufacturer and will be part of the company's Premiere Dream Cabin Series. The manufacturer also produces several smaller cabin kits in a range of prices starting at $15,200. Models are open to the public in Kenduskeag, ME near Bangor; Groton, VT; Westfield, MA, and LaGrange, KY near Louisville.

"The Dream Cabin appeals to customers who want amenities and comfortable living space for six adults or two families," says Gary Jordan, who heads the Northeastern Log Homes design team. The Dream Cabin offers 1,800 square feet of living space plus a daylight basement for recreation, sleeping and storage.
