New Children's Footwear Magazine Launches
Footwear Plus and Earnshaw's launch a bi-annual magazine covering kids' shoes.
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 18, 2007 -- Footwear Plus and Earnshaw's magazines have launched the new bi-annual mini magazine, Little Steps, covering the children's footwear industry. The two magazines, both published by Symphony Publishing, combined their expertise in the footwear and children's apparel industries, respectively, to offer the first look at the top styles for children's shoes this fall.
Little Steps is distributed with the fall preview issues of both magazines with distribution that includes the World Shoe Association and Children's Club trade shows.
"Footwear Plus and Earnshaw's have had a long history of combining editorial power to offer children's footwear fashion and business coverage," said Greg Dutter, editorial director of Footwear Plus. "The Little Steps magazine just takes that to the next level."
"The largest growth area for children's footwear companies are children's apparel boutiques, which recognized the category as potential add-on sales," said Caletha Crawford, editor in chief of Earnshaw's. "The proof is that the children's apparel trade shows are now full of footwear manufacturers."
The premiere issue features a range of tools and tips for all retailers offering children's footwear. It includes a fully-wardrobed fashion shoot, a fashion forecast, profiles of two leading retailers and a Q&A with real moms sounding off on where they shop, what they like and the role their kids play in the decision-making process.
The next Little Steps issue will focus on Spring '08.
