Hitchcock Fleming & Associates Inc. (hfa), based in Akron, Ohio, has won a total of four 2007 ADDY Awards, one in Cleveland and three in Akron. These awards honor excellence in the advertising industry.
hfa won two Gold ADDY Awards and a Silver ADDY Award from the Advertising Federation of Greater Akron (AFGA) for work produced for The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, including the Goodyear and Dunlop brands.
The AFGA Gold ADDY award winners were in two categories: in the sales promotion category for a Goodyear Eagle® featuring ResponsEdge Technology™ consumer brochure; and in the consumer or trade publication category for the agency's "D" Campaign for Dunlop Tires. The "D" Campaign winning entry featured three ads: a D-Compress two-page spread ad and one-page ad, as well as a D-Votion two-page spread ad.
hfa earned a Silver ADDY from AFGA for regional/national TV, single spot, for a Goodyear Eagle featuring ResponsEdge Technology 30-second TV spot.
Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies, and Dunlop is a global tire brand with an excellent reputation among performance car enthusiasts.
hfa also won a Bronze ADDY Citation of Excellence from the American Advertising Federation-Cleveland (formerly known as the Cleveland Advertising Association) for the Schneller VeritasTM Ideas Web site. This ADDY was awarded to hfa in the category of interactive media, business-to-business HTML/other Web sites. Schneller is a global leader in the design and manufacturing of decorative surface laminates.
hfa's Gold and Silver ADDY winners will advance to a district awards competition. District winners then compete in the American Advertising Federation's (AAF) National American Advertising Awards Competition.
