Digital Marketing and Technology Firm Honored in its 10th Year of Business

SAN DIEGO - (PRWeb) April 2, 2007 - Digitaria, a full-service digital marketing and technology firm, today announced it was honored with several awards including Best of Show, People's Choice, Two GOLD ADDYs® and Three SILVER ADDYs® at the 2007 San Diego Creative Show/ ADDY Awards, held on March 23 in San Diego. The mission of the ADDY competition is to recognize and reward creative excellence in the art of advertising.

The ADDYs are the advertising industry's largest and most representative competition, attracting over 50,000 entries every year in local ADDY competitions. Conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the San Diego Ad Club ADDY Awards are the first of a three-tier, national competition. In events held concurrently all across the country, local entrants vie for recognition as the very best in their markets. At the second tier, local winners compete against the other winners in one of 14 District competitions. District winners are then forwarded to the third tier, the national ADDY Awards competition.

The annual ADDY Awards recognize the most creative entries in each category in both online and offline marketing. The GOLD ADDY is recognition of the highest level of creative excellence within each category awarded. Entries that are also considered outstanding and worthy of recognition receive SILVER ADDYs. The prestigious "People's Choice" award is voted on by attendees of the ADDY Pre-Show Raid, held one month prior to the awards event and open to the general public. The "Best of Show" is the best display of creative work in both online and offline marketing and is judged to be superior to all other entries in the competition.
