B2T Training Announces New Business Analyst Certification Program

B2T Training, provider of expert business analysis training, announces its new and updated Business Analyst certification program offering two levels of recognition.

Alpharetta, GA (PRWEB) April 4, 2007 -- http://www.b2ttraining.com B2T Training, a leading business analysis training provider, is pleased to announce its new Business Analyst certification program. B2T Training has been offering a Business Analyst certification for five years. The program will continue exhibiting high quality standards that test a Business Analyst's knowledge as well as ability to apply that knowledge and skills in real-world circumstances. The updated certification program offers two levels of business analysis recognition.

The BA Associate™ certificate is designed for new or experienced Business Analysts. The BA Associate certificate ensures that the Business Analyst possesses foundational knowledge and skills of business analysis topics taught in B2T Training's three core courses. Topics covered in the BA Associate align with the BABOK™ and meet minimum requirements to help prepare Business Analysts for the International Institute of Business Analysis' certification (Certified Business Analysis Professional, CBAP™).

The second level of recognition is BA Certified™. BA Certified is an elite certification recognizing individuals who possess proven skills, knowledge, and experience in eliciting, organizing, analyzing, documenting, communicating, and verifying requirements. Becoming BA Certified consists of earning the BA Associate certificate, possessing two years of business analysis experience, providing two professional references, and passing a final exam. The case-study-based final exam consists of developing portions of a requirements package and answering questions about the requirements.

"The business analysis profession is quickly gaining recognition in the work place. We believe that raising the standard and awareness of Business Analyst certification helps promote the value of the Business Analyst," says Angie Perris, vice president, B2T Training. BA Certified Business Analysts are able to confidently provide their employers or prospective employers with evidence that they possess not only business analysis knowledge, but the ability to apply that knowledge in a day-to-day real-world business analysis environment. Many Fortune 500 corporations recognize the value in B2T Training's certification and are requiring current and prospective employees to obtain this certification. With over 4,000 Business Analysts enrolled in B2T Training's program, we expect this recognition to increase.
