Everest Poker Announces Winners of Avalanche Round 3 Tournament

On March 31, Everest Poker hosted a round 3 satellite for the forthcoming $1,000,000 guaranteed event, the Everest Poker Avalanche. 27 players from the poker room will be moving on to the Everest Poker Avalanche online finale, to be held on September 17th.

Everest Poker http://www.everestpoker.com today announces the winners of the third Round 3 Everest Poker Avalanche qualifying tournament, held on 31 March. 272 players participated in this event, playing to earn a seat in the online finale event to be held on 17 September. Of these, 27 qualified to move on to the September 17th online finale for the Everest Poker Avalanche.

"The online finale is going to be an exciting event, but once the final ten places are set, the real fun begins," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker property manager. "At that point, the game stops and those players from the last online event are transported to an undisclosed location to play in a live final game."

Spanning nine months, the Everest Poker Avalanche involves both online play as well as live poker games. The tournament features a three-round structure that allows players at all levels to join in. Round 1 satellites are designed for players looking for little up-front risk: buy-ins are $3+.30 or $11+1. Round 2 satellites are ideal for players that are more confident in their ability and wish to save time - the buy-in is $56+5.

For players with big bankrolls that want to skip right to the top, Everest Poker is offering two choices: monthly Round 3 satellite events with a $530+30 buy-in as well as entrance to the Online Avalanche Finale for $5000+300.
