Mama's Boys & Me Sitcom starring Jarell Houston "J Boog" of former multiplatinum group B2k, screens April 12, 2007 at Sunset Screening Room in Burbank CA.

New Perspective Media is set to release an independently shot sitcom pilot this month. It will be screened on April 12, 2007 in Burbank's Sunset Screening Room at 8:00pm. The premise of show, "Mama's Boys and Me" is hardworking older sister is left with the responsibility of raising her immature, conniving, and super- active- brother siblings after parents succumb to a car accident. Jarell "J Boog" Houston, a teen phenomenon, is set to draw a large audience amongst tweeners and young adults. This based on the response he received when a member of former multiplatinum Group B2k. He went to star in teen hit film "You Got Served (ScreenGems)," and is presently preparing for a world tour to promote his new rap album.

Created and Produced by Dayo Beverly, the projects' other producers include Mike Briscoe, Michael Wayans and Rab Butler. The pilot was directed by acclaimed Hollywood director Ian Truitner. New Perspective Media holds the rights to all episodes, in which six (6) scripts have been completed and call for average budgets as well as celebrity guest stars. These episodes are not in production. The project's creative team is set to pitch the pilot to major networks and cable stations. The pilot is also being submitted to the Austin Texas Film Festival, the New York Television Film Festival, and the Miami Black Film Festival this year.
