Final week to register for this event, offering life-impacting information for families.

On April 13, Charlotte’s aro Solutions presents a rare opportunity for area residents and professionals to hear from one the country’s foremost attorneys in the field of Elder Law – Timothy L. Takacs.

According to aro’s President Chuck Robbins, the firm was contracted to manage this speaking event which includes a breakfast for the general public and a keynote address by Takacs entitled, “Boomer Crisis: The Elder Care Solutions You Must Know.” The gathering will take place at the Charlotte Marriott SouthPark. Takacs was one of the first elder law attorneys in the nation to assemble an interdisciplinary team of experts to provide integrated client care. His innovations have transformed the practice of Elder Law in the US and have set a new standard of excellence in the field. Information about the practice of Timothy Takacs is located at http://www.tn-elderlaw.com

Takacs presentation is particularly critical and timely for members of the “sandwich generation” – Baby Boomers who are still parenting their own children while faced with an immediate or eminent crisis involving the care of elderly parents or other disabled loved ones.

“There is a crisis looming in the lives of Boomers that is unprecedented,” explains Takacs. Scores of individuals and families now face tough decisions surrounding the care of elderly loved ones. And finding their way in unfamiliar territory is nothing short of stressful. “The issues are myriad,” explains Takacs, “from securing quality healthcare and long-term living arrangements, to concerns around financing those needs and protecting wealth for the family as a whole.” Takacs says his goal is to address both the issues and the stress by explaining his Life Care Plan approach to caring for the elderly.

The Life Care Plan is designed to encompass every aspect of elder care, which Takacs says requires a “team” made up of Certified Elder Law Attorneys, Elder Care Coordinators, and other professionals. Together, this team is able to analyze the needs of individuals to coordinate care, maximize quality of life, and protect family wealth for future generations. Takacs says the information to be shared at this event is key for Boomers to successfully manage the daunting challenge before them.

In addition to Boomers, professionals in the field of healthcare, retirement communities, and attorneys with an interest in Elder Law should make a point to plan to attend this event.

“This presentation is personal to me,” comments aro President Chuck Robbins. “It’s a tough place that many of my friends and colleagues find themselves and a challenge I am experiencing myself.” According to Robbins, seating for the event is limited and has been discounted for those who respond before April 2. Special rates are also available for multi-family members and groups.
