Everest Poker to Send 13 Players to Torneo di Poker Event

The premiere online poker room is sending over a dozen players to the upcoming Torneo di Poker, held in Nova Gorica, Slovenia.

Everest Poker http://www.everestpoker.com today announced that it was sending 13 players to the upcoming Torneo Di Poker event, to be held at the exclusive Perla Casino & Hotel in Nova Gorica, Slovenia. The poker tournament, held on 21-22 April, 2007, is a €1,500 event that is sure to have a large prize pool.

"The Torneo Di Poker looks to be a very exciting event for our players," said Jonathan May, Everest Poker's property manager. "The Perla Casino is a great venue and Nova Gorica's a beautiful town."

The players being sent to the event are as follows: Pocketjoe from The Netherlands, alexain from France, princounette from France, RasIII from The Netherlands, musko1 from Sweden, sylva33 from France, tieutieu31 from France, Banzai57 from France, guld-henrick from Denmark, topach from Italy, anlau from France, MONAZ from the Netherlands, and frenkeh from The Netherlands.

Everest Poker offered its players multiple ways to win seats at the Torneo di Poker. Daily Satellite Tournaments with a buy-in of $11+1 were held, allowing players to gain entry into a weekly direct entry event, normally a $100+9 buy-in. The first weekly direct entry event was held on Monday, 19 March 2007 at 20:00 GMT and continued until the finale.

"As always, we like to make it as easy as possible for players at all levels to compete for seats at poker tournaments like this," added May. "By offering freeroll poker tournaments and daily satellites, we're leveling the playing field for many players."
