Held March 14th at Yahoo's headquarters in Sunnyvale, California, the annual event recognizes the best creative work produced by agencies in the region. The ADDY Awards, considered one of the most prestigious marketing communications awards in the industry, are sponsored by the AD+ Silicon Valley and nationally renowned American Advertising Federation.

Chosen among over 200 entrants, Liquid Agency received a gold award for designing Speck's new retail packaging system and a silver award for designing Speck's logo. The award-winning retail package development process included comprehensive ethnographic research at retail locations as well as a competitive landscape analysis before the design was conceived. Speck's logo, an impactful asterisk inside of parenthesis, is truly a metaphor for the special cases that Speck designs. The versatility of the logo ensured that it would be optimized when reproduced on different materials and through a variety of techniques
